Let's set the stage. It's Summer 2024.

It's a beautiful sunny day and you decide to get together downtown with your friends. You have so much to tell them, the last few months have been a whirlwind for you.

You all sit down, order appetizers and drinks, and your friends look at you like you're crazy. "Live a little!", that's what they're used to saying to you, since you always just get your meal and nothing else. But this time, something's changed. They ask, "what's going on?!", and you get into it:

You're in a new place. You're challenged, you're fulfilled, your pockets are feeling a little heavier lately. Now, you check in to work and people look to you to make hard decisions. Decisions that are going to influence what the world sees, what it hears coming from the AI behind your product.

You had spent a year sending resumes for all kinds of jobs in tech with nobody giving you the time of day. "Your experience isn't relevant", they'd say, or "we're looking for somebody that understands the technical aspects". Then, as if you were a completely different person, a half dozen responses last month wanting to get you in to interview ASAP.
